Cosplayer of the Week: Amber Arden

I have met a number of cosplayers in my time, a good amount of those wonderful people ended up being drastically different from what I imagined they’d be like. For example I always imagined Amber Skies was some golden goddess that was nothing but perfect and she ended up being a goofball you couldn’t help but adore. Momokun appeared as this unreachable person that you could only look at from a distance and yet she was so down to earth to the point of rapping her favorite songs for strangers. Well, the cosplayer of the week is Amber Arden and she blew away all of my expectations when I met her this weekend at Anime Expo. Looking at her with a quick glance, you can assume she might have a certain air or superiority due to being so gosh darn beautiful!

Within the first 15 seconds of meeting Amber, I understood that she was just as much of a dork as I was and I could not believe it! Every second then on was just soaking in her awesome as she gushed about her love for Disney, Pokemon, and cosplay. I knew i had to ask her for an interview and thankfully she agreed!

If you are unfamiliar with Amber Arden, she is a California based cosplayer enjoys mashing up two concepts into one incredible design. The cosplay she is most known for is Snow Fett which is a combo of Boba Fett and Snow White. She continued the trend by mashing up Jigglypuff and Togepi as princesses, which looked kawaii as all hell!

I highly recommend checking out her content, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed! If you ever get the chance to meet her, I would absolutely take the time to do so! I want to give a huge shout out to Amber Arden for taking the time to chat with us about her as a person and as a cosplayer!
