Hanging Out with Crunchyroll at Anime Expo 2018!

Anime Expo is a wonderful convention that always brings good vibes and great events. What makes it even better is the fact that our friends over at Crunchyroll always go above and beyond for their fans with their booth!

If you are unfamiliar with who/what Crunchyroll is, they are an incredible service that allows fans of anime to get the latest and greatest series in a convenient and legal fashion! Their library is chock-full of great series and releases that follow the Japanese release dates pretty darn closely!

This year was no different as they provided premium members the choice of distinct swag bags with different anime characters on them, along with a pin, and information on all of new seasons of current shows, new series, and swag for all of the above!

We got the chance to chat with Lauren about Crunchyroll:

Speaking to Lauren was such a breath of fresh air. You can tell Crunchyroll is a great company solely by how passionate their staff are. We often times consume the content provided by their service but never really consider the hard working men and women who help bring so much more to fans than just the anime series.

Their Crunchyroll Expo and Anime Awards are prime examples on how they constantly go above and beyond for fans!

The other fun event we got to attend was their private Crunchyroll party at their HQ which had games, a photo booth, unique drinks, and so much more!

It was such a blast getting to chat with them and I encourage everyone to check out their website at http://www.crunchyroll.com/. You will absolutely want to keep a close eye on all of the shenanigans they have coming down the pipeline!

Darth Mexican has been a geek since he first saw a lightsaber ignite. He has strong feelings on subbed anime. He strives to represent the stories of the common man and woman regardless of skin tone, age, sexual preference, or nationality. With every article he strives to bring representation to the voiceless. Unless he finds out they like dubbed anime.
