All the gamers know that 2020 is going to be a revolutionary year for the gaming sector. With all-new consoles, like the XBOX ONE X and the Playstation 5 coming out, we’re bound to see some big changes
and innovations in the upcoming gaming world. We all know how big every Sony console release is, where the current leading console is overrun by a bigger, better, and more modern model which brings the gamer an all-new clearer, faster, and more immersive way to play their favourite video games. The hype for the all-new PS5 had started to spread in late 2019, where rumors regarding Sony working on a new Solid State Drive (SSD) which will be used in the future to run an 8K compatible console with ray tracing and unforeseen quality graphics which will feature specifications similar to that of a high-end gaming computer, caught the eye of millions of gamers on all platforms. We knew something big was about to happen and that it was about to change the idea of gaming as we know it. Now, with plenty of rumors and press releases by the creators of the PlayStation themselves, we can confirm that the Gaming entertainment genre will be changed forever as of Holiday season in 2020. We all know that with every console release, comes a plethora of all new games to play, and usually, the biggest releases are those that continue a series of big game titles, like perhaps the next upcoming game in the Call of Duty Franchise, the next Grand Theft Auto, or even the return of the classic Ratchet and Clank.Â
Another great addition to the PS5’s features will be the ability to run games made for its predecessors, the PS4 and the PS4 PRO, meaning you won’t have to heartbrokenly throw out your old games when buying the new edition console. This will be appreciated by everyone.Â

Call of Duty Black Ops 5: Cold War
The 5th Call of Duty Black Ops game which will be released this fall will most likely be named Cold war, is going to be one of the first titles we will be seeing featured on the all-new PS5 when it is released. We all have played Black Ops at a point in our lives and we sure as hell loved it. The high quality fast-paced multiplayer FPS gameplay is adored by many, and let us not forget their Zombies mode, which is the home of one of the biggest gaming communities in history. And now it will be set in the Cold War era, featuring lots of American and Russian gun action on an all-new system with unforeseen mechanics.
Ratchet & Clank
Being one of Playstation’s biggest premiere platformers since the release of the PS2, the iconic duo Ratchet and Clank are set to return with the release of the PS5, to help kickstart the beginning of a new gaming era. With the PS5’s new mechanics we surely will be seeing an arsenal of all new quirky sci-fi weapons which Insomniac will use to test the limits of the new Playstation engine.
