Staff Shoot 2018 - The Geek Lyfe

Every year we love to get the team together and take photos of everyone to celebrate another year of hustling and adventures!

We hit up our homie Connor, AKA Chocozumo, for a shoot and asked The Grid for permission to be obnoxious during business hours! Thankfully, both of them agreed and we had a blast!

If you are unfamiliar with The Grid, it is a barcade based in Mesa, Arizona, which features a number of great games and consoles, both old and new! We’ve been there for musical events, gaming tournaments, drinks, and it’s nothing short of fantastic, both in terms of entertainment and customer service!

This year, we made the focus all about video games which is a huge pastime of many of our staff members! We did our very best to include as many staff members as possible, but unfortunately our staff aren’t all from the same city or country, even!

This photo shoot included Owner/Project Manager Darth Mexican, Editor Schrei205, Staff Photographer Chocozumo, Chief Videographer Tony Pisano, Quality Assurance Rob Zoeller, Writer / Assistant A Thief Named Alexia, and Convention Agent/ Yaoi Reviewer Heartless Aquarius!

We don’t ever want to leave out our other homies, though! Check out the rest of the crew: Project Assistant Saint, Convention Agent Tidesiren, Convention Agent Cheshsmiles, Canadian Convention Agent Geegiiee, UK Convention Agent Cobalt, IT Pankey, and photographer Demorafairy.

We also got to do a silly video while on site that was directed and edited by Tony Pisano!

All in all, it was a lot of fun getting together and taking great photos of the team being nerds! We can not wait for what 2019 has in store for us! Thank you again so much for supporting us!

Darth Mexican
Darth Mexican has been a geek since he first saw a lightsaber ignite. He has strong feelings on subbed anime. He strives to represent the stories of the common man and woman regardless of skin tone, age, sexual preference, or nationality. With every article he strives to bring representation to the voiceless. Unless he finds out they like dubbed anime.
