Staff Spotlight: Tidesiren

Good day everyone!

Last year we ran a number of articles featuring various staff members of Geek Lyfe to show who is providing that content you consume! I thought it would be a great time to bring that back as we have a number of staff who are brand new to the team! Starting off, you may or may not already know of this staff member because we have both featured them as a cosplayer and they have covered a few articles for us.

Her Cosplay name is Tidesiren!  She is a huge fan of Disney, and absolutely adores star wars. She has been cosplaying for a number of years and we are so glad to have her on our team as a writer. She is a pro when it comes to attending a gauntlet of conventions back to back. Literally some months would be completely covered in conventions that were both in state and out and she’d find the endurance to attend them all but go a step further by going in cosplay. I’ve never worn heels before but I can imagine one weekend would be rough let alone multiple!

Her attitude is always so fierce and she doesn’t let anything stop her from getting what she wants, which is a quality I admire! She is smart, wise, and has a knack for knowing what looks good. Every time she was by my side for a convention she helped out with whatever crazy idea I had at the time and then would contribute her own crazy ideas which made everything that much better. She has proven time and again she loves Geek Lyfe!

Articles she has helped with:

Be sure to check out more of her own content on Instagram and Facebook! If you see her at conventions be sure to chat her up! She is awesome and would love to meet both her fans and Geek Lyfe fans as well! 😀

Darth Mexican
Darth Mexican has been a geek since he first saw a lightsaber ignite. He has strong feelings on subbed anime. He strives to represent the stories of the common man and woman regardless of skin tone, age, sexual preference, or nationality. With every article he strives to bring representation to the voiceless. Unless he finds out they like dubbed anime.
